Alternative Approach Leading to Reduction in Measurement Instrument Uncertainty of EMI Measurement

Abstract Even in the field of electromagnetic compatibility, low measurement uncertainty means high quality. Although there are standardized procedures for obtaining such a measurement, which facilitate estimation, modern approaches show further reduction possibilities. The paper presents an alternative approach to reducing instrument case interference based on many years our experience and large number measurements this field. In paper, two different methods described. first method is detailed analysis sources subsequent division analyzed frequency band into more subranges. Another uses choice antenna factor, also contains information about test site where carried out. way, despite lengthy analysis, it relatively easy achieve that below maximum given by CISPR standard.
